  This book is wonderful. One of the actresses ia Ikuko. She goes to England to study English, promising her boyfriend Hiroshi she will return to Japan to marry him. However, in Birmingham Ikuko discovers a whole new world and falls in love with another overseas student. She is loyal to her feeling. So she breaks up with Hiroshi and stay with Bernard. She follows Bernard and flies to Afrian. Even they do not get together, it is still beautiful.
