The character I choose is Sean Payne, he is one of Hu friends. In the book, Sean Payne is a person who has father runs a bar, and he is half Thai and half American. He is a funny guy which always make everybody laugh, and he like to tease everybody. In the practice of the show, he always talks, tries to make people laugh, and he does not care if he is looked stupid. Sometimes, he does not know when or how to stop trying make people laugh. He feel wonderful when he successfully in making people laugh. However, sometimes his joke is excessive, and it makes everyone feels mad. For example: when everybody in the field trip, he pretended his leg is broken, and asked for help. When everybody came to help him, they did not see Sean, and then, they heard Sean screamed about he was dying. They ran to his scream and did not see him again. After that, Sean continued to scream that he got snake, every kept searching him and when they saw Sean, he was fine but Sean made everybody lose their way and they were lost in the field trip. Although he is looked stupid in teasing people, he knows a lot of languages. He knows Chinese, Japanese, German, Thai, English. He learn English from his father, Thai from his mother, Chinese from his grand mother, and Japanese and German from tourists when he help in one of his father 's restaurants in the school holiday.

e. A description your character's role in the book.

In "Nothing but the Truth", Sean Payne has an important role. He is a person who helps Hu know the rumor that she is a little friend of Mr Stanyer. He also talked to Hu to be careful with Mr Stanyer's game. That helps Hu to understand Mr Stanyer's plot.

f. An explanation of why chose this character.

I choose this picture for my character because the man in picture is a teenage with half Thai and American.

g. A brief description stating why this picture is the best one to represent the character you have chosen.

This picture is the best one to represent Sean Payne because he looks like Sean with the same origin (half Thai and American), and also, he looks funny and intelligent, that is why I choose him to represent Sean Payne.
