According to writers, they depend on a recent survey, and said that there are "83% of Americans eat at their desk", it is "not a good news if you are one of the 83 percent of Americans who eat at their desks". In addition, that is not good for people health. Authors consulted Toby Smithson who said that lunch is a part of the average workday because shorter lunch hours can help people finish their work quickly, they also make many workers sick by many bacteria hide in desktops, it leads them to food borne illness.Moreover, Writer also quoted University of Arizona where the study found that average desktop has 100 times more bacteria than kitchen table and 400 times more than toilet seat. Charles Gerba was interviewed by authors and he said that "desks are really bacteria cafeterias". Besides, Smithson also said that you should make your desktop like you treat your kitchen table and counters at home and he also said that don't let your food less than 2 hours outside of the proper temperature. In conclusion the desktop Dining Survey is a part of the Home Food Safety program and the previous survey was conducted in 2003.
Opinion:
Although eating in desk can help people save their work time, It is not good for their health. People should prevent it to make them avoid many illness.
